We're in this together.

We don’t just have a vision for our church to flourish, we have a vision for our region to flourish.
Our love in action has the potential to change the world as we live out our calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Together we can make a difference. Let’s go deliver hope and love to Northern Colorado.

A Commitment to Excellence

Becoming a part of our Lift Team is a commitment to pursue a life of excellence in belief and behavior. This commitment to excellence is reflected in the following statements:

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and being in agreement with the values and ideas presented in Mill City Connect, I now have found my home with the Mill City Church family. In doing so, I commit myself, to God and to the other team members, to do the following:

by acting in love toward others. by refusing to gossip. by following the leaders.

  • “So let us concentrate on the things which make for harmony, and on the growth of our fellowship together.” Romans 14:19 (PH)
  • “Live in complete harmony with each other—each with the attitude of Christ toward each other.” Romans 15:5 (LB)
  • “Have a sincere love for your fellow believers, love one another earnestly with all your hearts.” 1 Peter 1:22 (GN)
  • “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs…” Ephesians 4:29
  • “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be no advantage to you.” Hebrews 13:1

by praying for Mill City Church. by attending worship gatherings and a City Group faithfully (now House Gatherings). by giving regularly.

  • “To the church…we always thank God for you and pray for you constantly.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2
  • “They devoted themselves to the apostles‘ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
  • “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together…but let us encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:25
  • “Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering.” 1 Corinthians 16:2
  • “A tenth of all you produce is the Lord‘s, and it is holy.” Leviticus 27:30

by discovering my gifts and talents. by becoming equipped to serve others. by developing a servant’s heart.

  • “Serve one another with the particular gifts God has given each of you…” 1 Peter 4:10 (PH)
  • “God gave…some to be pastors and teachers to prepare God‘s people for works of ministry, so that the body of Christ may be built up…” Ephesians 4:11- 12
  • “Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ…who took on the very nature of a servant…” Philippians 2:3-4, 7

by living a godly life. by sharing Christ with others and making disciples. by warmly welcoming all to God’s house.

  • “Go out into the country…and urge anyone you find to come in, so that My House will be full.” Luke 14:23 (LB)
  • “So warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ has warmly welcomed you; then God will be glorified.” Romans 15:7 (LB)
  • “But whatever happens, make sure that your everyday life is worthy of the gospel of Christ.” Philippians 1:27 (PH)

Teams

The following is a list of specific teams that make church happen. Together, these teams form our Lift Team. As noted below, several of our teams have both in-person and online serving opportunities available. Feel free to indicate on your application as many teams as you are interested in, and someone will be in touch with you real soon.

This team creates a safe and warm environment where people who have questions can explore the Christian faith. Each session begins with a talk and is followed by a small group discussion.

We believe life change happens in the context of relationships. City Group leaders influence others to become wholehearted followers of Jesus through life-giving community.

We place value on people and their journeys. Our Connect Team helps people understand who we are and participate in where we are going.

We work hard to support our teams with innovation and beauty. Our team works with writing, photo + video, communications, and graphic design.

We believe every detail matters – this team leverages their gift of hospitality to make a difference through excellent and coordinated support for all of the event needs of our house.

Host teammates serve inside the auditorium helping everyone feel like they are home, which looks like a warm welcome to finding a seat.

Nurturing and leading children as we partner with parents to raise passionate followers of Jesus.

Our Life Safety Team provides a safe environment for all our guests and our teams.

Lift Team Central cares for our team so they can better serve our house.

Support all teams with the resources needed to set up each area of our church so the people of our House can more easily encounter Jesus. These teams either set up before church or tear down after.

We love Northern Colorado! The outreach events team helps initiate connecting points from our church to our region, serving those among us in need.

We are passionate about connecting with and standing alongside others. Our prayer team meets before gatherings and prays for our congregation after each gathering.

Partnering with parents to see students become wholehearted followers of Jesus.

We seek to remove distractions and create environments where our house can connect with God. Our Tech Team works with Computer Graphics, Video, Lighting, Audio, and Livestream.

We aim to create a warm environment on Sundays to help every person encounter the love of Jesus through his people.

We inspire our people to passionately engage and be transformed by God’s presence. Our Worship Team includes musicians and vocalists.

Our YA Team exists to serve people in our region ages 18-25. This team has a variety of components including Campus Outreach, large gatherings, hangouts, and more.
