Jesus had the harshest criticism for the religious leaders of his day because they killed the heart of life with God. They made looking good more important than being good. Jesus holds no punches and talks about anger, lust, integrity, and violence to show what it looks like to embrace the Kingdom of God. We, too, must root out self-righteousness and look at these often controversial subjects to follow the way of Jesus. // Series two in our journey through the Sermon on the Mount.
