- What is the current condition of your soul?
- What was your highlight and lowlight from this last year?
- What attribute of God is most real to you right now?
- When have you been most satisfied?
- What is the best compliment you’ve ever received?
- What lies do you most often tell yourself? How do you combat them?
- How do you see Jesus at work around you?
- When you are older, what do you think your grandkids will ask you to tell stories about?
- Where would you spend a day of solitude? Is there a tangible place you feel closest to God?
- What song brings up a specific memory every time you hear it? What memory?
- What is a hard experience you went through as a young person that significantly influenced who you are today?
- What dream is in your heart?
- What stresses you out?
- What three people have shaped your life the most, and how?
- What five people do you love the most (Jesus, spouse, kids assumed)
- What is your biggest job challenge?
- What is your fondest childhood memory?
- What is the saddest moment in your life?
- When was the first time you remember being afraid?
- In what ways are you most like your mom/dad (positively and negatively)?
- Who is the happiest person you know? Why do you think they are so happy?
- What makes you come alive? Do you do enough of it?
- What are your two favorite things about yourself?
- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
- What is Jesus teaching you right now?
- On a scale of 1-10, how at peace are you? Why?
- What do you feel most proud of?
- In what ways do you hold yourself back?
- What makes you cry?
- What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were 20 years old?
- If you could make yourself believe one truth, what would it be?
- What relationships have ended, but you can’t let go?
- What scares you about your future?
- How would you hate to be described?
- What would be the most insulting thing someone could say to you?
- What have you given up, but used to love?
- Would you fall head over heels in love with you? Why or why not?
- What risk do you need to take?
- Is there anyone you have a hard time forgiving? If so, why?
- What do you use to numb, distract, or avoid pain or uncomfortable issues?
- Using only one word per person, what was your first impression of each person present with you now?
- What fear(s) are you trying to overcome?
- How have you been humbled? Describe the details.
- Have you ever violated a confidence? Describe what happened.
- What silly thing have you done in the name of love?
- What’s weighing heavy on your heart these days?
- What’s your attitude towards people who believe differently than you?
