// Nick Tompkins
Kids + Students + Counseling
Nick grew up around the cornfields of Indiana and is grateful to have transplanted to “God’s Country” and live close to the mountains. He met his wife, Hilary, in a small group in 2005 and married a year later. He loves the perspective and simple faith of kids and the great impact that is possible during such impressionable years.
Nick oversees all ministry at Mill City from newborn to 12th grade. He has a degree in Youth Development from North Central University and has been a youth and/or kids pastor since 2005. He also oversees all pastoral counseling, including premarital counseling for engaged couples. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. Hilary finished her degree at Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies after working in children’s ministry for more than four years. They have one son, Solomon and a daughter, Stella.
Nick likes sharing a good belly laugh, enjoying a homemade Saturday breakfast with his family, and listening to kids pray; he dislikes burning his tongue on the first bite of something delicious, silverware knocking on teeth, and the expressive confidence of SEC football fans.
